There’s usually a ton of traffic on the roadways in South Carolina on a Friday morning. Such was the case last Friday when a single-car accident in Aynor leaves one woman dead. 50-year old Zorrein McClary of Aynor got into a fatal car crash on 11th Avenue.
McClary was driving on 11th avenue at 8 am when her car veered off the road to the right side. The car left the street and ended up crashing into a tree. The driver of the car that crashed was the only person injured in the accident.
There were no other cars involved in the crash. And, thankfully, McClary was the only occupant of the car at the time of the accident. The authorities did confirm that McClay wasn’t working her seat belt.
The victim was rushed to Conway Medical center where she later died from her injuries. There is still no cause given for the accident. The investigation is ongoing. The authorities have confirmed that an autopsy has been ordered. This usually is done when the police believe drugs or alcohol could’ve played a role in the crash. However, it’s also done to determine the precise cause of death.
In situations like this, the driver is the only one who knows what happened. And, when the driver dies as a result of the accident, there’s very little to go on. For all we know at this point, the autopsy could show that McClary suffered a seizure or stroke right before the car crashed into the tree.
